Punta Mita
I successfully revitalized the "Live Punta Mita" lifestyle blog, working closely with the web development team to deliver a beautiful redesign with enhanced functionality. Leading the content creation efforts, I crafted a strategic approach to engage homeowners, potential investors, and visitors alike. During my year collaborating with them, blog became a platform not only to showcase the unique charm of Punta de Mita, but also to highlight the beauty of Nayarit and its surrounding regions—offering readers a richer perspective on the area’s appeal.
the beginning of the blogging journey
I brought extensive experience in PR to this project, having led initiatives in Mexico City for major brands such as Dickies, Motion Picture Association, Atelier de Hoteles, and more.
This background helped build strong credibility, attracting interest from well-known local businesses including restaurants like Tuna Blanca, tour operators like Vallarta Adventures, luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons and W Punta de Mita, and fashion boutiques like Mita Mita Store.
Within just three months of the blog’s relaunch, I had made it profitable.
These businesses saw the platform as a valuable space to promote their services through tailored interviews, banner ads, and personalized content—especially on Instagram, which became our main channel for visibility.
As part of my broader vision for the blog, I also built strategic relationships with local influencers already recognized in the bay. My goal was to support the growth of their personal brands while collaborating on storytelling that reflected the bay lifestyle, helping to expand both their reach and the blog’s impact.
*Unfortunately, Punta Mita decided to put this new phase of the blog on hold after leaving, but I trust that they can execute my proposal together with this cool women in the future.

APART FROM THE BLOG...
I developed the social media strategy for Live Punta Mita’s Instagram and Facebook pages, and also supported the team with content creation. Additionally, I took part in consultations alongside their social media manager to shape the 2023–2024 strategy for their four key channels: Punta Mita, Punta Mita Real Estate, Punta Mita Rentals, and Punta Mita Golf. The results were significant. For the first time, the team had a structured, strategic approach and a clearer understanding of the importance of social media planning. This shift greatly improved overall productivity, allowing the team to define their roles more effectively and operate with a clear sense of direction. As a result, the content creation process also improved. With a strategy in place, the social media manager was able to shift her focus from time-consuming operational tasks to more creative and high-impact work. For example, she had previously been handling professional real estate photography—something outside her core skill set. I initiated a much-needed conversation with the director to advocate for hiring a specialized photographer experienced in luxury properties. These conversations weren’t easy. Budget concerns often overshadow the need for quality and long-term efficiency, and it's never comfortable to challenge that mindset. But I’m proud of the outcome. Instead of stretching the team thin with responsibilities outside their strengths, we refocused efforts where they mattered most. I supported the team beyond my formal role by drawing on my experience and advocating for smarter workflows that ultimately benefitted everyone involved.
